I grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the son of a Kindergarten Teacher and a Southern Baptist Minister. From a young age, my parents encouraged my artistic passions and active imagination, which led to me attending Kentucky’s Governor School for the Arts. It was at this summer program, attending as a Musical Theatre student, that I realized what I loved wasn’t just a hobby but a potential career. I was hooked.

I attended Baldwin Wallace University outside of Cleveland, OH, now one of the top musical theatre programs in the country. While there, I performed with Great Lakes Theater Festival as well as Idaho Shakespeare Festival. I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre, attended my program’s showcase in New York City, secured representation and moved to NYC.

Within six months, I earned my Actor’s Equity card with A CHRISTMAS CAROL at North Shore Music Theatre and toured nationally with Matthew Bourne’s MY FAIR LADY. I originated the role of Michael in ACADEMY, a new musical that was acclaimed at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and won Best Musical at the Daegu Int’l Musical Fest in South Korea. I performed in the off-broadway revival of THE SILVER CORD by Sidney Howard as Robert Phelps at Pecadillo Theater Company and originated the role of Simon in the new musical, SIGNS OF LIFE, set in the Terezin concentration camp in World War II.

I’ve appeared in the original GOSSIP GIRL on the CW, performed alongside George Hamilton as Etienne when I toured with LA CAGE AUX FOLLES as the Etienne understudy, and portrayed Geoffrey in LION IN WINTER at St Louis Rep.

One of my favorites was Pete Mills and Cara Reichel’s DEATH FOR FIVE VOICES, a new musical drama about Carlo Gesualdo, the 16th century Prince of Venosa who wrote madrigals and sacred music using chromatic language not heard again until the 19th century. The musical follows his genius and murder of his wife and her lover by his own hands. I originated the role of Carlo Gesualdo and had the opportunity to perform the musical in Carlo Gesualdo’s own castle in Gesualdo, Italy.

I am now based in Los Angeles, where I recently appeared as Orson Welles in the feature film VOODOO MACBETH (“BEST FILM” Harlem International Film Fest, “BEST IN FEST” Sedona International Film Fest). VOODOO MACBETH is being distributed by LIGHTYEAR ENTERTAINMENT and presented in association with WARNER BROTHERS, premiering in NYC & LA on October 21st, 2022.
