VOODOO MACBETH WINS AT SEDONA FILM FESTIVAL!
What a whirlwind this past week has been! VOODOO MACBETH had two showings at the Sedona International Film Festival a week ago, so my Mom and my fiancé Charles and I packed up our car and headed west, joining our producer Jason Lee Phillips and fellow cast members June Schreiner and Inger Tudor in Arizona.

Director’s Choice: Independent Spirit Award as well as the Audience Award: BEST IN FEST!!!
To experience this week with friends and family at my side was a powerful experience to say the least, but especially for my Mom to see me on the screen for the first time and hear the way audiences responded to my work.
Having her with me meant the world to both of us. Talk about a week making lifelong memories!
I miss the rest of our cast and crew, but I’m grateful we mighty four were able to represent and meet so many amazing filmmakers.
If any of you have the chance to go to Sedona, GOOOOO! And if any filmmakers have the chance to attend the Sedona Intl Film Festival, know that you will be cared for, spoiled, and invigorated by the experience. I’m so grateful for the entire festival team for the hospitality and generosity. And thank you most especially for ensuring this spotlight on artists still shone in the time of Covid.
